4 Days In Chicago

4 Days In Chicago

About two weeks ago, the Agbalogs (plus Nancy) went on a much needed family vacation to Chicago, IL. We met up with one of my very good friends, Daryl, his wife Robyn, and their precious daughter Sadie. Not only was it our first time in Chicago, but also the first time we met baby Sadie. We also got to spend a couple of days with my long lost cousin, Danica.

We stayed right off the Magnificent Mile and did what we always do on vacation….EAT! No food pictures here though. I saved those for Instagram (@chrisagbalog). Shout out to Giordano’s. *Fatboy Tip – Instead of waiting 2 hours for a table and your pizza, order your pizza online to-go and eat it right outside when it’s ready.* Besides all the eating, we definitely got our steps in and did all the touristy things: Navy Pier, the Bean, Sears Tower, and the world famous Shedd Aquarium.

Enjoy the photos. I tried to stick to a rule of not posting more than 25 photos each post so that I only posted the best of the best, but I love how all of these photos came out.

BONUS – The last photo shows how exhausted we were (at least for me) after our flight was cancelled at 2am and getting little to no sleep for the rest of night at the USO. The kids were troopers though.

Levi’s First Birthday!

Levi’s First Birthday!

Happy Labor Day! I hope everyone is taking advantage of the last day of summer at the beach or having maybe one last barbeque. Im using this day to catch up on some photos. I was gone for almost all of August for some good old Army training out of Fort McCoy, WI. Bad news – We didn’t celebrate Levi’s first birthday on August 5. Good news – We celebrated his birthday a week before and I have pictures!

It feels as if this past year has gone by so quick and Levi is growing up so fast. Before I left for training, Levi wasn’t walking. While Im gone, he takes his first steps and will soon be running after his older brother. Here are some pictures from Levi’s first birthday party. As you can tell, he is extremely loved by all his friends and family. Levi, I cant wait to watch you grow and explore new things with your older brother. I don’t know if your mom and I are ready, but we’re definitely excited for what’s to come!

Levi’s First Haircut

Levi’s First Haircut

Today marks a special day for the Agbalog family, but most notably our little boy Levi. He’s having his first birthday party this weekend, and he just had his first haircut. His older brother Liam, uncle Kaden, and I also decided to join in on the fun and get haircuts ourselves. As always, we went to Uncle Thien for the freshest fades in all of New England. Kaden takes his haircuts like a champ and is seasoned in the barber’s chair. Liam is always a hit or miss. Levi did better than expected! As the photos show, Liam loves his uncle Kaden and loves copying everything he does.
